Deerhoof's new album La Isla Bonita is out November 4 on Polyvinyl. Following the lead-off single "Exit Only", they've shared another new one called "Paradise Girls". They've also announced a tour, which includes dates with Lightning Bolt, Cibo Matto, Priests, Busdriver, and others.
In a press release, drummer Greg Saunier described the inspiration for "Paradise Girls": "Our heroes on this song are Joan Jett, Janet Jackson, Kim Gordon, Kathleen Hanna. It's about how girls are and have always been smarter."
